Baguio Food Review, Part 1: Bliss Café

Posted on by Ashley Fruno

On my first morning in Baguio, in the Philippines, I woke up excited—I knew I was going for brunch at Bliss! My long-awaited breakfast affair did not let me down either. We ordered the “Sunrise Brunch” option, which was succulent scrambled tofu paired with multigrain toast and soy sausage.

We also dug into the “No Quack Duck Adobo” and two of the dessert crêpes (we tried the banana, mango, and strawberry as well as the mango and wild-blueberry options). Who says you can’t have dessert for breakfast? The staff at Bliss was happy to “veganize” the crêpes for us by removing the ice cream and honey.

If you’re in Baguio, Bliss Café is definitely worth a visit. Although the lunch and dinner menu boasts a plethora of tasty dishes—including Indian, Mexican, Korean, and Japanese fare—I’d recommend going to brunch and having dessert too!
