Being an Active Activist Counts

Attendees at an Australian Wool Innovation news conference held in Sydney last week were greeted by PETA Australia supporters who were holding signs urging them to ditch the cruel practice of “mulesing.”

Sheep are thanking their lucky stars for awesome Australian activist Valentina Priante, who grabbed a friend and headed out there to combat the evils of the Australian wool industry.

Valentina is a Sydney resident who had never protested, had never leafleted, and had never been to a demonstration before, but she was willing to drop everything on short notice and go it alone for PETA Australia and the sheep who suffer because of mulesing!

A virtual shout out to Valentina for all she did to stick up for sheep!
