It’s Time for ‘Veganuary’

What’s Veganuary?

The idea behind Veganuary is to inspire people around the globe to go vegan for the month of January. This helps reduce the suffering of animals by decreasing the demand for foods from the meat, egg, and dairy industries.

Veganuary has been garnering more and more attention every year since it was first started three years ago. It is estimated that more than 50,000 people will take part this year. To help you get started, we have the answers to a couple of questions that you might have before going vegan:

  • What is veganism?
Vegans do not eat meat, eggs, dairy foods, or any other animal-derived consumables.
  • Why should we go vegan?
This is the most frequently asked question by nonvegans. Everyone has a reason to go vegan. From putting a stop to the rampant abuse of animals used for food and protecting the environment to reaping the tremendous health benefits and helping to end world hunger, there are a number of very significant reasons why more and more people are leaving meat off their plates for good and embracing a healthy and humane plant-based lifestyle.

Please see this blog post about the top 10 reasons why we should go vegan.
