Pregnant Women: Eating Yogurt Might Harm Your Babies!

A recent study undertaken by the Danish National Birth Cohort may hammer another nail in the coffin for the dairy industry. In the study, 61,912 women were questioned about the foods they eat. It was found that the consumption of low-fat yogurt during pregnancy may be linked to the development of childhood asthma and hay fever. The consumption of full-fat yogurt is associated with adolescent hay fever.

According to the study, children whose mothers ate low-fat yogurt during pregnancy may face a 60 percent increase in asthma and an 80 percent increase in hay fever, compared to the children of mothers who ate no low-fat yogurt.
