NT$50,000 Reward Offered for Help in Nabbing Men Who Allegedly Burned Dog Alive

A shocking video featured on the Internet has the Taiwanese community in an uproar. The video features two people dousing a dog with gasoline, lighting the helpless animal on fire, and laughing while the dog struggles and yelps in agony while being burned. The dog eventually died from his injuries.

Local police still have yet to make any arrests in the case. We’re offering up to NT$50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for this heinous act.

Taiwanese citizens have every reason to be concerned: According to law-enforcement agencies and leading mental-health professionals, perpetrators of violent acts against animals are often repeat offenders who pose a serious threat to all beings—including humans!
