Eating Meat Is for Cavemen, PETA ‘Dinosaurs’ to Proclaim

What:             “Get out of the Stone Age, go vegan!” That’s the message PETA’s famous “dinosaurs” will bring to the streets of Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday as they roam in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.             “The practice of slaughtering animals to consume their body parts is a relic of the caveman era and has no place in a modern society like Malaysia,” says PETA Asia Senior Vice President Jason Baker. “PETA is calling on everyone to get out of the Stone Age, ditch primevil meaty meals, and go vegan.”

PETA points out that each person who goes vegan saves the lives of nearly 200 animals every year; reduces their risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, and cancer; and dramatically shrinks their carbon footprint.

Where:           The pedestrian crossing opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Jalan Raja, Kuala Lumpur. Please see the Google Maps link here

When:         Thursday, July 6, 12 noon sharp

PETA Asia—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat or abuse in any other way”—opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview.
