Papa John’s UAE Rolls Out Vegan Pizza, Wins PETA Award

Posted on by PETA

Exciting news! Papa John’s Pizza in the United Arab Emirates has launched an entire vegan menu, complete with dairy-free cheese and several side dishes.

That’s why PETA has given the company a Vegan Food Award—the first one we have ever awarded in the Middle East.

Papa John’s new vegan menu features five types of pizza, including Hot Pepper Passion, Garden Special, and Margherita, along with dairy-free cheese sticks and loaded potato wedges.

Papa John’s Is Winning Customers’ Hearts

Choosing vegan cheese prevents mother cows from being artificially impregnated and then separated from their newborn calves so that their milk can be consumed by humans instead. Vegans also enjoy a lower risk of suffering from cancer, heart disease, strokes, and diabetes than meat-eaters do.
