Music Legend Chrissie Hynde Hits VeganBurg

Posted on by Ashley Fruno

Chrissie Hynde, the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer from my native Ohio, is a seriously devoted vegan and animal rights activist. Growing up, her music and work for animals was always big news. Chrissie has taken time out of her busy schedule in the past to support campaigns for PETA and our affiliates. Chrissie is such a rockin’ chick, she even invited a girl wearing an “I ♥ PETA” shirt on stage with her to sing at a recent concert in Singapore. Her trip also gave her the opportunity to sample the burgers at VeganBurg, a PETA favorite in the city-state.

I’m fairly certain that no one could resist the deliciously perfected burger menu at VeganBurg. There are days that I have stared at the pictures of these burgers and dreamed about my next trip to Singapore. VeganBurg doesn’t just serve burgers, though; you can also get dairy-free ice cream, seaweed fries, or a light and healthy salad, among other things. Chrissie Hynde fell in love with the Cracked Pepper Burger, according to the restaurant.

Everything at VeganBurg is 100 percent vegan and 100 percent drool-worthy. Chrissie Hynde was in Singapore to perform at the Formula 1 Grand Prix, but we think the plethora of scrumptious food at VeganBurg might have been the real reason behind her trip. If you’re in Singapore, you should definitely check them out. If you aren’t in Singapore, you may want to start planning a vacation …
